It is the ability to zoom out when everyone else is zooming in..  The  Bamboo Farmer There is a species of Chinese Bamboo that tests the patience of any farmer. You plant the seed, water it, and fertilize it for an entire year. Nothing happens. You do the same for the second year. Still nothing breaks the soil. Third year. Fourth year. Nothing. It requires immense discipline to keep watering patches of bare dirt. The neighbors will call you a fool. Then, in the fifth year, a sprout breaks through.
